At the start of every new year, our team sets aside a day to gather offsite. Yesterday, we celebrated the accomplishments of our firm and staff, analyzed the missed opportunities and set goals for the year ahead. Here are some of the highlights:
We hired Sarah Sepulveda
While we knew we wanted to bring on another staff member in the near future, we weren’t sure on the timing and hadn’t begun the formal recruitment process. Sarah came into our world by her own tenacity; seeking a Rotarian who worked in the financial planning industry to learn more. As with many things that are ‘meant to be,’ the stars aligned and we happily brought her on to our team late last year.
We donated nearly $18,500
Community involvement continues to be a major cornerstone of our firm. Supporting deserving organizations large and small – those that touch the heartstrings of our staff and client families – is a huge part of what we’re privileged to do. Last year’s charitable gifting is a $7,000 increase over 2017. In addition, we attended nearly 20 charitable and community supportive events throughout the year, and donated our time and talents on 15 separate occasions.
We held hundreds of client meetings in 2018
This is the heart and soul of what we do – serving our client families.
The “Team Approach” is ingrained in our firm from its foundation, and it’s something we take seriously. The goals we set for our firm in 2019 are ambitious and co-created by everyone on our team. We’re looking forward to improving our community, firm, client families and team members through a prosperous 2019.
