The Salem Area Chamber of Commerce has a long standing tradition. The First Citizen’s Banquet, now in its 70th year, honors community members who give of themselves to make Salem a better place to live, and inspire others to do the same. They carry three distinct recognitions: First Citizen, Distinguished Service and the Outstanding Young Professional. Brenna was surprised with the latter last week.
Nominated by Ron Kelemen, he and his wife Kathy invited Brenna to a catch up happy hour. Mid-drink, she was ambushed by a camera crew and about 30 friends, family and Chamber staff, the largest turn out for a surprise video they’ve had. It’s no wonder. Brenna’s reach is far and diverse in this community, and this honor is so well deserved.
The First Citizen’s Banquet will be held on March 7, 2020 from 6-9pm at the Salem Convention Center. We invite you to join us in supporting her as she takes the stage to accept the award.
