On St. Patrick’s Day, we were thrilled to join about 2 dozen other sponsors who gathered to support Liberty House. Their annual Celebrate Spring dinner and auction raises funds to support the important work this organization does.
Liberty House is a child abuse assessment center right here in Salem. They serve children in Marion and Polk counties who are facing concerns of abuse, neglect, trauma and grief. A couple of years ago, they launched an ambitious fundraising campaign and through community support, were able to expand their services. That campaign lead to a hope and wellness program which directly compliments their assessment services by providing follow up care through counseling, therapy and community education.
With the help of everyone in attendance at this year’s auction, Liberty House raised over $180,000. They live by their motto “changing hurt into hope,” and we are proud to support them in that mission. We hope as winter gives way to spring and you find yourself basking in some of these crisp, sunny days, that you too celebrate spring, and support the organizations that inspire you.
